Ironman Germany followed by a week spectating the TDF.

What gets you out of bed in the am?
I am a heavy sleeper so its always the alarm, unless its winter and there is fresh snow, then I’m too excited about skiing.

What was the highlight of 2012 for you?
Top Amateur at IM Florida, 8:58

What was the biggest thing you had to overcome in 2012?

A sports hernia that kept me from running for a few months, and moving 1200 miles to Montana mid-season

Your hopes for 2013? I’d love another Kona AG podium and another PR.

Any pre or post race rituals?
Hanging out, seeing the local sights

What is one thing that most people don’t know about you?
I’ve never eaten a hamburger

Other hobbies outside of Triathlon?

Skiing (XC and DH), anything outside. Coaching.
