to announce the dates for it’s spring 2012, Triangle “Stay-cation” Training camp.   Although athletes from out of town are welcome to come, if there is interest we will have a block of hotel rooms available.  This is a chance to surround yourself in triathlon for an entire weekend, train like a pro with fully supported and coached workouts and educational lectures for 3 days, all without having to pack an over night bag.  Each workout, lecture and social activity will take place in different locations throughout the triangle and you may just discover a great new area to train right in your back yard that you never knew existed.

The weekend will be all inclusive and designed for each participant to attend each event, however, can’t attend every the Injury Prevention lecture from the Physical Therapy due to your child’s soccer game?  No problem, you can choose workouts and clinics al a cart to fit you needs.
The camp is open to all athletic abilities; however, each workout and session will be presented in a manner that is most beneficial to those with some experience.
The camp will include nutrition samples, swag, give aways, and each individual workout will include sag/support vehicle, maps, handouts and video analysis available upon request.

An intensive camp is a great way to learn from highly experienced coaches, athletes and other participants to get your season off to a great start.  This camp will jump start your 2012 season and put you on the road to achieve a great athletic and personal success.
Training sessions and individual attention with coaches – all disciplines will be covered.
Daily interaction with coaches and support staff.
Fully supported training sessions for safety, nutritional and mechanical needs.

Onward to 2013

We’re just a month away from race season! This is the worst time of the year for me. Everything is so close, but still so far away. Racing is just a few weeks away, but there are still plenty of painful workouts before then. The weather is trending in a positive direction, but there are [...]

Balance

By Erika Erickson As an athlete, I struggle a lot with finding and maintaining balance in my training.  This isn’t so shocking, because I struggle with finding balance also as a grad student, a friend, a daughter, a sibling, a roommate, a significant other, a…well, you get the idea – it’s hard to balance all [...]

My Top 7 Training Tools

Often friends and training partners ask me what products and tools I use for training and recovery, so I thought I would share my list of favorites. These are all tools that I find most essential to training, racing, and recovering (other than my bike, running shoes and swim goggles!) I wanted this list to be [...]
